During an edition of Saturday Night Live on December 3, Keke Palmer confirmed the rumors that she is pregnant.

“There are people in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’ and I want to set the record straight, I am.”

“I gotta say though, it is bad when people on the internet spread rumours about you ya’ll, but it’s even worse when they’re correct.”

Palmer confirmed rumors that she was expecting a baby in her first appearance on the SNL show then gave proof by unbuttoning her coat to reveal her baby bump.

The actress and singer then proceeded to talk about keeping the pregnancy a secret for so long, talking about not wanting to have any clash between the baby growing in her womb and her alcohol deal.

“I gotta say. It’s bad enough when people spread rumors about you but it’s even worse when they’re correct,” she said. “I mean, I was trying to keep it so hard to keep it on the down low because I have a lot of stuff going on. People kept coming up to me, ‘Congratulations?’ I’m like, ‘Shh! Can y’all stop? I have a liquor sponsorship on the line!’ Once the check clears, then we can get to the damn baby shower!”

Keke Palmer, real name Lauren Keyana Palm, is expecting her baby and her boyfriend, Darius Jackson, is probably the father.
