On Friday, Quantico actress Anne Heche struck a home in Los Angeles’ Mar Vista area with her automobile, causing both the car and the home to catch fire. According to a source with knowledge of the situation, Heche, Ellen DeGeneres’s former lover, was the driver.

According to Jeff Lee, the public information officer for the Los Angeles Police Department, the driver was moving at a high speed when she veered off the road and hit a house.

The car caught fire after the collision, and the driver sustained burn injuries. The Los Angeles Fire Department’s paramedics transported her to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Heche first became well-known for her dual roles as twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap opera “Another World,” where she appeared from 1987 to 1991.

For this role, she won a Daytime Emmy Award. She then appeared in “Donnie Brasco,” “Six Days Seven Nights,” and “Wag the Dog,” among other movies.

To Heche’s professional chagrin, her friendship with Ellen DeGeneres in the late 1990s attracted a lot of media attention at the time.

Heche claimed that after going public with their relationship, she felt “blacklisted” in a 2021 interview with Page Six.

Heche has lately made appearances in a number of TV shows, including “The Brave,” “Quantico,” and “Chicago P.D.” According to her IMDB page, she is currently working on a number of acting projects.
