Bad Bunny had a good Sunday. He performed for a large crowd at Yankee Stadium, kissed a man and a woman, and finished the night by winning Artist of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The kissing took place during his rendition of the Dembow song “Tit Me Preguntó” from Bad Bunny’s fifth studio album, Un Verano Sin Ti.
The Puerto Rican rapper kissed the male dancer on his left after kissing the female dancer on his right, in a move reminiscent of Madonna kissing Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera at the 2003 VMAs.
Carmelo Anthony, a former player for the New York Knicks, joined Bad Bunny on stage and gave him the Moonperson award.
Along with being nominated for Artist of the Year, Bad Bunny was also up for Song of the Summer for “Me Porto Bonito” with Chencho Corleone, Best Latin Song for “Tit Me Preguntó,” and Album of the Year for Un Verano Sin Ti.
By the time 2022 rolled around, Bunny had received nominations for five different VMA awards, including Song of the Summer in 2018, Best Latin Video in 2019 and 2020, and two Best Latin Video accolades in 2021.
El Muerto, the first Latino character to serve as the protagonist of a Marvel live-action picture, will be played by Bad Bunny, Sony Pictures revealed in April. A superhero wrestler from the Spider-verse goes by the name of El Muerto.
