Faux Long Island Pablo Escobar, Fetty Wap, pleads guilty to drug-related charges

According to the prosecutor’s office, rapper Fetty Wap has admitted guilt in federal court to conspiring to possess and distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine. There is no defined date for his sentence yet.

Nevertheless, the rapper’s lawyer asked for an accelerated sentencing date, according to a US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York spokesperson.

The “Trap Queen” musician was indicted and detained in October along with five other people on the drug trafficking conspiracy charge. He was released on $500,000 bail, which was revoked earlier this month after authorities claimed he violated the conditions by threatening to kill someone and brandishing a gun during a FaceTime call in December.

Fetty Wap admitted guilt to the crime which carries a required minimum term of five years in jail, but the actual sentence may be anywhere between 87 and 108 months in prison, based on a number of criteria.

According to the indictment, Fetty Wap, whose real name is Willie Junior Maxwell II, and the others charged allegedly transported and distributed substances throughout Long Island, including cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl.

According to an affidavit, Maxwell was hauled back into custody on August 8 following the FaceTime incident in which he threatened to “kill you and everybody you with” after pointing a gun at the man.
