By all indications, Johnny Depp will resume his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean. He recently emerged victorious from a 6-week battle with his ex-wife, Amber Heard.

The former couple made headlines when they were involved in a malicious defamation trial against one other. His fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise and reconciliation with Disney.

The production house barred him from the franchise and other Disney productions after Amber made some serious and unsettling allegations against him.

During a recent live performance with Jeff Beck, the actor teased fans with his distinctive burgundy bandanna that he would return to the series. The burgundy red headband is part of Jack Sparrow’s signature attire.

A six-week defamation trial recently concluded with a jury voting in favor of Johnny Depp, awarding him $10.35 million in damages while awarding Ms Heard only $2 million.

During the trial, Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer stated that Depp had been replaced in the lead role of the upcoming Pirates chapter by Margot Robbie, but he also left the door open for a future return.

Following the conclusion of the trial, a significant story stated that Disney was negotiating a $301 million agreement to re-cast Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow.
