The BTS ARMY, Google, and YouTube have released several partnerships, including a new easter egg and a Street View tour, to honor BTS and their enormous fandom.

A “#MyBTStory challenge” has been running on YouTube for the past month, asking the many BTS fans to submit their greatest moments from the group’s nine-year career. A special tribute video to the BTS ARMY will be posted on the band’s YouTube channel on July 13 to conclude the event, which is coming to an end today.

But looking ahead, Google is still working with BTS and has just released two fantastic new products.

The announcement has been scheduled to fall on “BTS ARMY Day,” which commemorates the anniversary of the fan club’s founding, on July 9.

Google Search features a new easter egg as a starting point for the event. Simply enter “BTS” into the search box on Google.com, and a flashing purple heart should appear on the search results page.

Click it to launch an endless stream of purple balloons that are gradually floating toward the top of your screen onto the page. One of the regular balloons will pop if you tap or click on it, leaving a purple blob on the page.

On rare occasions, a balloon in the shape of a heart will have a flashing microphone inside. A distinct audio clip from one of the band members stating “I purple you” is played when one of these balloons is popped. Purple symbolizes I will trust and love you for a very long time, as said by band member Kim Tae-Hyung (aka “V”) in 2016.

You’ll also be met by a handwritten note from one of the band members to the BTS ARMY in honor of the group’s “birthday” in addition to the audio. Overall, it’s a charming homage to the band and the supporters who make it all possible.

You may take a “Street View tour” of 14 locales that the members of BTS deemed significant to their careers over on Google Arts & Culture. The Chunggu Building in Seoul, South Korea, and the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles are two examples. You have the option to personalize one of the sites by overlaying it with artwork chosen by the band over each spot.
