Contrary to the norm, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid players had to forgo their usual exotic bus for travel to hop inside a fully electric bus in order to make it for the LaLiga match.
The reason for the change was to mark the 75th-anniversary celebrations of the city’s Municipal Transport Company (EMT).
A look at the bus
The bus, a 28-seater, fully electric with zero-emission, was specifically decorated for the event. It was covered with the colors and logos of the two teams.
The buses, two in number and identical boast of free wifi, but no reclining seats, refrigerators, and tinted windows.
