Google launches its Smart Watch
Though the smartwatch was long overdue, it’s still welcomed. According to Google, its OS was designed to be easy to navigate and accessible. It offers the ability to download apps straight from Google play, asides from the built-in apps.
Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro
Google’s new flagship in its generation of phones. It’ll run on Android 13 and use the next generation of Tensor chips. However, it leans more on the design of the previous Pixel 6 such as the camera bar. Other information such as price and release date will be made available soon.
Pixel 6a
Google simply stripped off some of the features in the Pixel 6 phone to get the cheaper Pixel 6a at $449 from $599. Downgraded features include a smaller screen ( from 6.4″ to 6.1″), lower camera quality, and RAM size.
Pixel Buds Pro
Google’s new pixel buds come with noise cancellation, are IPX2 sweatproof, and cost $199.
Upcoming Google AR Glasses
Google hinted that they are developing its glasses. Details are sketchy but are worth keeping an eye for.
Pixel Tablet
Google is making its Android tabs again, however, it won’t be available for sales till 2023.
Google Wallet
Google now expands its Google pay to include storage of pieces of stuff like credit cards, loyalty cards, digital IDs, transit passes, concert tickets, vaccination cards, etc.
Improvements in the Google Assistant
Communication with the Google assistant will be more natural. You can simply look and talk with it, instead of the usual “Hey Google”! Also, it gets to imbibe the usual phrases used by you and you can get it up by that.
Improvements in Google Maps
Google is launching its “Immersive” view; a 3D exploration view that covers the interiors of popular locations and buildings. Its Eco-friendly routing expansion lets motorists optimize their driving routes to save on energy and its Live View for third parties.
Additional Languages In Google Translate
Google is added more new languages to its popular google translate, especially from minority populations.
Creation Of Virtual credit cards in Chrome
You will be able to generate a virtual credit card number in Google chrome in order to keep your real credit card number more secure. The virtual credit card can simply be revoked and another one generated if there is a breach or theft.
Better Understanding Of Skin Tone
Google is expanding its reach on skin tone via search results in order to better accomodate all types and levels of skin tone in Google photos.
