Drakeo the Ruler has died after being stabbed in the neck at the backstage of an event in Los Angeles.
The 28-year-old rapper, real name Darrell Caldwell, died at a hospital from the injuries sustained from the stab wound in his neck.
Reports say he was attacked by a group of people after a fight broke out at the backstage of the festival.
The event- a music festival themed Once Upon A Time was hosted by Snoop Dogg.
The festival was closed immediately after the stabbing, preventing other stars like 50 Cent & Snoop Dogg from making their appearance.
The police had not yet made any arrests at the time of writing this report.
Drakeo the Ruler was released from prison in November 2020, after he spent 3 years for a criminal gang and gun-related violence.
He was previously charged and acquitted of first-degree murder, attempted murder, and conspiracy to commit murder.
