The president of Gabon was captured losing his balance and almost falling during his visit to Paris.

The African president came on an official visit to the Peace Summit at Paris with the French president – Emmanuel Macron.

Many were angered by the video, wondering why it is so difficult for African presidents to quit political offices even in the face of dwindling health.

63 years old Ali Bongo Ondimba, is the third president of Gabon since October 2009. He took the throne after his father died, after ruling the country since 1967.

He suffered a stroke in October 2018, which made him evasive of public view for long.

Many have called for him to resign stating that he is physically not fit to rule the country.
