Currently, Davido cannot withdraw any money from the over 160 million Naira he has received so far in his Wema bank account.
This is because the account is under restriction, or as bankers would say, PND which means “post no debit”.
The account restriction can be visibly seen even in the last screenshot the singer shared, showing his account balance so far.
Wema Bank placed Davido’s account under restriction because of the high influx of money it received in a very short period, given that the account was newly opened.
Also, the account is an individual account, not a corporate account.
The account restriction on Davido’s account is, however, temporary, and he will be able to withdraw his funds as soon as some verifications are made.
