The Federal Government insisted that no protesters were shot on the 20th of October, 2020. The minister of information Mr. Lai Mohammed made these claims in his statement.
He said;
“Today marks the first anniversary of the phantom massacre at Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos, which was the culmination of an otherwise peaceful protest that was later hijacked by hoodlums.”
He also claimed that CNN and other people who are painting the image of the country so bad internationally should apologize to the Federal Government.
