Sergio Aguero has revealed that he was offered the vacant number 10 jersey at Barcelona.
Aguero joined Barcelona on a free transfer from Manchester City.
He has now been ruled out of action for two months due to an injury.
Aguero said he rejected the number 10 jersey as a sign of respect for his friend, Lionel Messi.
“It was offered to me but I didn’t select it out of respect for Messi.”
Ansu Fati has now been handed the number 10 jersey.
