The Hisbah Police have confiscated two vehicles carrying 5,760 cartons of beer in Kano state.
Kano State is amongst the Northern states in Nigeria that adhere to sharia laws, often implemented by the Hisbah police.
The arrest was made yesterday and was announced by Public Relations Officer, Lawan Ibrahim-Fagge.
