Amanda Chisom has another piece of advise for unmarried women at 35 years old as well as those married but do not have kids of their own.
According to her, those women within the said category should make hay while the sun shines…especially while the sun still shines on them.
She advises them to look for a man to get them pregnant because of the advent of menopause and drawbacks of conceiving at a latter age…that is if the woman really wants to have kids.
Also those that are married for years without children should for IVF rather than waiting for miracles that do happen.
In her words;
“I don’t know how you all will take this but I am going to say it, I am not mocking anyone or insensitive to your situation but I am saying strictly in my opinion based on certain cases .
After 3 years of trying to conceive, look for solution, look towards IVF, surrogacy, adoption and whatever else. I really do not know why we wait so long and be hyping the number of years we waited. It may look good for the testimony time in your church or on blogs but please , life has greatly changed, the life expectancy has reduced, a good number of people may never live to be 50. I understand money could be a hindrance to these choices but if money is not,do what you need to do. Nothing wrong with any of the choices you take to ensure continuity as long as you did not steal the child.”
“Unless you really do not care about reproducing or leaving a descendant behind, it is okay. Young women over 35, I really don’t know what they tell you people to convince you to keep waiting for husband, then it was okay, anyhow e wan be you fit find husband for village during mass return or by recommendation. Now a lot of women will be single for life and that is okay too, good husband no go reach everybody. If you are serious about reproducing , take it serious.”
“I am not putting pressure on anybody oh, do as you please.”
