Oyedepo Defends Sacking Unprofitable Pastors, Building Churches Instead of Factories!

Pastor Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide has come out to defend sacking pastors who did not meet up to their set targets, liking the church to a regular business. In his defense, he said unprofitable servants make you a poor manager…and if the pastors can resign at will, then he also has the right to sack at will.

Well that makes one wonder if God made an error by calling the pastors initially or was the selection man-made…and yes, if churches are now based on business models, they should pay tax and yes they should actually be paying tax to the Government!

He also defended his building of massive church auditoriums and other buildings instead of factories to provide employment and economic benefit, stating the money was not collected from anybody and he has the right to spend his money how he wants….was the money not collected from people via various tithes, offerings, and seed sowings?

Ok so people pay money to God through you as you claim at the point of collection, but it suddenly becomes yours when you want to spend and nobody can have a say then…
