The Hisbah sharia police have banned the pre-wedding photos of Zahrah Bayero, soon-to-be wife of Yusuf Buhari, son of Buhari, President of Nigeria.
The Kano State Hisbah police and board took a step further to ban the sharing of the pre-wedding photos on social media, after declaring it a sin.
The reason for the ban was because it exposed the shoulders of the bride-to-be, suggesting immorality, and drew wide nationwide criticism amongst Nigerians who wondered if they were above the law.
