Ese Brume came third place to win bronze and Nigeria’s first medal in the women’s long jump in the ongoing 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

She dedicated the win to Pastor Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide.

Before she took the long jump, she was captured on video saying “God of David Oyedepo, I want to do this!”

She went ahead to dedicate the bronze medal to Bishop Oyedepo, her coach, Kayode Gaya, and her family.

“This medal means a lot to me. It doesn’t matter the colour. First I dedicate it to Bishop Oyedepo and I plan to decorate him with the medal later”
