The Minister of Defence, Retired Major Gen. Bashir Mgashi, and all the Governors of the South-Eastern region of Nigeria, held a closed-door meeting to discuss the security challenges in the region!
Others present in the meeting which was held at the Government House, Enugu, include all the leaders of the political, religious, and traditional institutions.
The security challenges have worsened in the Eastern part of Nigeria in recent times with the frequent attacks on policemen by unknown gunmen, also tabled was the issue of Biafra agitators now backed by the Eastern Security Network or ESN!
