Video: How Baba Ijesha confessed to rape/ molest 7- 14 yr Girl

Popular Yoruba actor, Baba Ijesha real name Olarenwaju James, has been trending for the wrong reasons recently. He was accused by Comedienne Princess, of raping or rather, molesting a 7-year-old girl, now 14 years old while he was staying with them, 7 years ago in Princess’s home, an act which was captured on CCTV camera.

According to Comedienne Princess who brought the matter to Social media before taking it to the Lagos State Police Command which saw Baba Ijesha arrested, the sexual assault on the under-aged minor happened at a time she was recovering from her failed marriage, and Baba Ijesha was staying with her in her home. It was also unclear if Comedienne or Comedian Princess was having a sexual relationship with actor Baba Ijesha, as at that time.

In the released confession video, Baba Ijesha appeared to have been rough-handled and begged Princess for forgiveness, and blamed the Devil for pushing him into perpetuating the unholy act, as She pressed him to state the reason why he defiled her little foster child.

However, after the matter was reported to the Police and the video analyzed by them, the Police authorities reported that there was no rape or sexual act, and regarded it as sexual harassment, which cannot be tried as rape but can be pursued by the accused if they want.

The Police also released Baba Ijesha on bail after their preliminary findings, as they could not continue to keep him in detention, as the Court was not sitting soon.
