We are in the Jet-era with mobile and internet banking at our fingertips so have you ever wondered if your mobile phone gets missing or stolen and you have no nearby access to your bank to place a Place-No-Debit (PND) on your accounts. Or you just feel your account access has been compromised, or such happens over the weekend or at night, you sure can’t keep calm till Monday or the business day to properly safeguard your account,  as delay, as they say, is dangerous!

Well here is what you simply have to do to keep those hackers away and have your account safe account. You just need to have memorized your bank account number then use any available phone from anybody and dial this code; *966*911#

Once you’ve dialed the code, you will receive a message prompt: eaZybanking – Stop Debit Transactions

Enter Account Number:

You then enter your account number and enter OK or Send. This will automatically freeze your account from any type of debt! In literal terms, nobody can withdraw money from your account…including yourself!

You have to go to your bank in order to unfreeze the account and operate it normally!

This information is also useful in the prevention of forced withdrawal/ transfers in cases of robbery or kidnap!
