King of the OBOs aka Davido is set to release his album titled “A Better Time” on the 13th of November, 2020. The album was specially set to drop shortly after Wizkid’s much-awaited but highly criticized Made in Lagos album. Announcing the release of his album, Davido wrote;
“This year we’ve been through crazy times. And through it all, we’ve all had to look inwards to find hopes of better times ahead. I found a few. In human and creative form. Wizkid’s Made in Lagos album which was released on the 30th of October has been met with various levels of criticism. Many of his fans expressed disappointment as it failed to meet their expectations. Some argued that Wizkid did not create the album to appeal to Nigerians but the international community.
However, some singles from Davido’s Better Time album such as FEM, have been a hit song since its release. Davido has been seen dropping hot tracks which appealed generally to Nigerians as Wizkid majored in international collaborations in majorly in the UK.
