The number one messaging app, WhatsApp, is set to release facial unlocking and the ability to join or further ignore missed group calls, in future updates. The additional feature in the call section of the app will favorable place with other competitors such as Zoom and Skype.
As it is on the IOS version, WhatsApp fingerprint functionality will be renamed to Biometrics in the Android version, as it would include facial unlocking and others. The additional feature will boost user security. The messaging giant has not set a date for the release of the new updates.
