The take-down hit was accompanied by plummeting blows to seal the deal after which Israel Adesanya dry-humped Paulo Costa, who lay oblivious of the act.
His victory has been greeted with wide jubilations amongst his fans, although his humping act brought some criticism from others.
Adesanya, who is a lover of dance and choreography, is regarded as the best striker and has an undefeated record of 20 wins. He held the title for Glory Middleweight, a two-time Cruiserweight heavyweight champion.
