South Africa, a country known for its racial discrimination against foreigners is trending on the news again for very wrong reasons.

There is civil unrest in South Africa after videos emerged of Taxu drivers beating up Uber and Bolt drivers, destroying and burning their cars because they were taking up their customers and business.

The attack happened at a dropoff and pickoff location at Maponya Mall. The e-hailing Uber and Bolt drivers attacked were also citizens of South Africa.

It was reported that three vehicles were torched and the drivers were assaulted. One was also shot.

The police have not made any arrests so far with the Gauteng Transport MEC, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela condemning the attacks.

South Africa To Start Race Quota For Foreigners Geared Towards Limiting Access To Water To White People

Elon Musk was dumbfounded after a Twitter user reported that South Africa has drafted laws that were published by the Minister of Water, Senzo Mchunu on 19 May that will set regulate how much water is available to foreigners, and white people – as another user pointed out.

Aaron (@LibertarianZA) said that the new regulation has already being introduced into the South African legislative process via the draft legislation as shown in the valid excerpt from the official government gazette.

“Some insight into the South African legislative environment might also be helpful,” Aaron said. “For example, it is not like the US where there are two houses through which legislation must pass and there are two parties with roughly balanced representation.”

“In SA the ruling party has the power to effectively rubber stamp anything it sends to parliament as members of the house are effectively not permitted by the party to vote according to their conscience and must vote as instructed”, he added.

South Africa is known for its racial discrimination and usual xenophobic attacks on foreigners living and working in the country.

Many such attacks have happened in the past with little effort from the Government to stop and prevent a reoccurrence in the future.

South Africans blame successful foreigners working in their country for the cause of their misfortunes. They say that foreigners, especially Nigerians, and Chinese, have taken up all the available jobs (both skilled and unskilled) and left them poor with nothing to hold on to, and have through many actions violently championed that they all should leave the country or be deported.
