The co-founder and bassist of Kiss, who is also a rock legend, Gene Simmons, is getting better and should fully recover after he fainted while he was driving along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. This incident led to his SUV crashing into a parked car, as reported by officials.
The musician and instrumentalist, who is 76 years old, was rushed to a local hospital for evaluation and was later released.
Gene Simmons came back to social media to inform his fans that he is “doing well.”
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department stated that Gene Simmons’ SUV crossed a lot of lanes before he collided with the parked vehicle. Not too long after the two cars hit each other, emergency officials arrived at the scene to save the day. It was later confirmed that no one sustained injury.
The group, Kiss, stopped their touring the last two years after they had spent 50 years on the road. The bassist and his colleagues in the band have a scheduled performance for November this year at a special Las Vegas event.
The 45th and 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, recently revealed that the band Kiss will be part of those to be honoured at this year’s Kennedy Centre Honours.
