Video: US Womans Wants To Reconstruct Pakistan & Marry Boyfriend After Parents Stops Relationship

A New York woman flew 7,560 miles from the United States to Pakistan to cement the love she had for a 19-year-old boy, but when the teen’s parents objected to their relationship, she not only insisted on marrying the young man, but refused to go back, demanded hundreds of dollars for herself and to reconstruct the Islamic Republic to her taste.

Onijah Andrew Robinson, aged 33 years old, met a Pakistani man named Nidal Ahmed Memon online in October 2024. The two started dating online and soon, Onijah made plans to come to him and take their relationship to the next level.

Onijah’s love fantasy was however dashed when she arrived in Pakistan only to have Nidal tell him they have to call off the relationship and plans because his parents did not approve of the proposed marriage.

She tried all she could to turn the tables till her tourist visa expired. Luckily, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori had it extended. She might have gone broke following reports that money was raised for her to return home but she refused.

Dejected and homeless, Onijah resorted to wandering about the vicinity of Karachi. Her continual presence around Nidal’s family home forced the parents to vacate the house.

When she discovered that all hope was lost she held a press conference where she claimed she was married to him and also started reeling out a manifesto for a new and developed Pakistan.

“My plan is to reconstruct this whole country (Pakistan)”, she says, before asking for $100k minimum, of which $20k was needed urgently before the week ran out, in cash from the Government. It is unclear if she was making her money demands from the US or Pakistan Government.

Watch the video compilation of her press conferences below:

The American woman continued that the Government would fix up the buildings and clean up the streets, which she referred to as ridiculous and she did not like.

While the people listened, she told them that they needed new buses, cabs, and cars and revealed her new surname “Ahmed”, taken from the last name of Nidal Ahmed Memon, the man she came to marry. She also reiterated that they were already married and were moving to Dubai where they would have their baby.

In another meeting, she said she wouldn’t speak further unless given land and 2,000 or more every week. Wearing the Muslim hijab, she said she would be getting her Pakistani passport too.

In an update, it was reported that she left for U.S. on Monday.

A man named Jeremiah Robinson who claimed to be her son, spoke with a Pakistani TV and said she was a mother of four, and suffered from “mental bipolar disorder”. According to Mayo Clinic, Bipolar disorder, also known as manic depression, is a type of mental health problem that causes extreme mood swings – from emotional highs to lows.

Arab News reported that the US consulate in Karachi were aware of the matter but could not comment due to privacy laws.
