James Kennedy, who stars in Vanderpump Rules, has been arrested by the police. He was picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 10, for committing a misdemeanor domestic violence.
The Burbank Police Department swooped into Kennedy’s Los Angeles home in response to a report of an argument that occurred between a man and a woman.
TMZ in their report mentioned that a person who is familiar with the situation claimed that James Kennedy went into a physical assault with a woman whose name was not mentioned, although the police say there were no injuries. The 32-year-old was later let go on a bail of $20,000.
The report did not reveal if the woman involved in the assault was his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, whom he went to Kathy Hilton’s holiday party with in the evening before he was arrested by the police. Sources also claimed that the couple did not appear close to each other at the event.
The DJ’s former lover, Kristen Doute, in her reaction to the update on Instagram, wrote, “Finally, together with a screenshot of the report. He has been dating his girlfriend Lewber, a 28-year-old lady, since January 2022, after he and his former fiancée Rachel Leviss left each other.
Lewber was a guest at an event solo on a day after the incident, while some updates were shared by Kennedy about an upcoming DJ show on Instagram. He is well known for his struggles with sobriety.
He celebrated two years of not drinking alcohol in 2021 but later adopted a “California sober” lifestyle.
