Patrick Mahomes was replaced with Carson Wentz while the injured player was put on the sideline with his teammates. Mahomes was also seen limping after the game when he was leaving the field.
It was not an easy game for Mahomes as he got collided with a lot while the ball was being thrown. ESPN reported that the player was pressured 21 times.
Mahomes had made 19 passes from 38 for 159 yards before he was injured, and he also scored two touchdowns.
The Kansas City Chiefs did not lose concentration after Mahomes was taken off the field, and they still managed to emerge the winner of the game, but the supporters are now waiting to see what the rate of Mahomes’s injury is. His ankle will also be examined further to decide when he will be playing again.
The team is now hoping to see their quarterback recover from the injury soon.
