The Belgian team had an opportunity to steal an early lead after Tristan Degreef set up Kasper Dolberg, but his goal was ruled out for offside. Porto then scored a controversial penalty after Francisco Moura was fouled by Degreef in the box.
Galeno quickly converted the opportunity, redeeming Moura, who had initially conceded a penalty a few days before in Porto’s Taca de Portugal loss.
