Reijnders’ Brace Secures AC Milan Victory Against 10-Man Club Brugge In Champions League

Tijjani Reijnders scored two goals that secure AC Milan victory against 10-man Club Brugge.

Milan seriously needed this one after it was defeated by Premier League side Liverpool and Bayern Leverkusen. The club took the lead when Christian Pukisic made a corner that he intended to get to a teammate, but it ended in the net.

The match took a shocking surprise when referee Felix Zwayer reviewed the video assistant referee (VAR) that led to the red card that Raphael Onyedika received after he attacked Reijnders that left Brugge with 10 men.

Club Brugge did not let the red card destabilize the team, as he found a way of scoring a goal that equalized the match. Kyriani Sabbe, who came in as a substitute, fired a well-placed shot in favor of Club Brugge, making him the fourth teenager to have scored against AC Milan in the Champions League.

The supporters of Milan showed their anger over what they tagged a miscalculation when the team’s coach, Paulo Fonseca, substituted Rafael Leao for Noah Okafor, but this decision was quickly vindicated. Noah did not wait a minute after coming in when he helped Reijnders score his first goal throughout his cut-back pass.

Reijnders scored another goal that sealed the last win after successfully converting a cross from another substitute, Samuel Chukwueze.
