Actors Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have ended their engagement after three years together, as reported by People magazine. The couple, who began dating in 2021, got engaged in October 2022.
Tatum, 43, and Kravitz, 35, met while working on Kravitz’s directorial debut, “Blink Twice,” in which Tatum stars. Throughout their relationship, they were often seen together in New York City, attending events such as the Met Gala.
Despite their split, the pair are set to work together again. Deadline confirms that they are both attached to star in the upcoming sci-fi comedy film “Alpha Gang,” which is scheduled to begin production in 2025.
Neither Channing Tatum nor Zoë Kravitz has publicly commented on their breakup. However, People reports that Kravitz was recently spotted without her engagement ring while spending time with friends, including actress Shailene Woodley.
Meanwhile, a few hours after their split became public knowledge, a social media post by Steve Kazee, fiancé of Tatum’s ex-wife Jenna Dewan, initially caused confusion. Kazee posted “HAHAHA” on his Instagram story, which some interpreted as a reaction to Tatum and Kravitz’s split.
However, Kazee later clarified that his post was about a funny houseplant-related video and never had anything to do with the breakup. “A guy can’t laugh about a houseplant TikTok in today’s world I see,” Kazee wrote, addressing the misunderstanding.
Channing Tatum was previously married to actress Jenna Dewan for nearly 10 years. They separated in 2018 and finalized their divorce in 2019. Tatum and Dewan share a daughter, Everly, born in 2013. Dewan is now engaged to Kazee, with whom she has a son born in 2020.
As of now, both Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz are moving forward with their respective careers. Their future project, “Alpha Gang,” will see them working together again, alongside other notable actors such as Steven Yeun and Cate Blanchett. Despite the end of their romantic relationship, the ex couple have spoken highly of each other, especially in matters relating to their profession.
Just last month, during the press tour for “Blink Twice,” Tatum promised to be fully supportive of her endeavours, saying, “I got you forever. Me and you back to back against it all. I’ll never blink. Let’s go.”
