Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Expecting First Child Together Following Previous Loss

Megan Fox announced on Instagram on Monday, November 11, that she is expecting a baby with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly. This news comes about a year after the couple candidly shared their experience with pregnancy loss, something the actress addressed in her poetry book, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.”

The 38-year-old ‘Transformers’ alum made the announcement by posting two photos which have since gotten more than 3 million likes as of the time of writing. One photo shows her kneeling and covered in a black substance while cradling her baby bump, and the other features a positive pregnancy test.

Her caption, “Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back,” is a nod to lyrics from Kelly’s song “last November,” which touches on their past experience with a miscarriage.

The couple first met in March 2020 on the set of “Midnight in the Switchgrass.” Their relationship blossomed amid Megan Fox’s separation from actor Brian Austin Green, whom she divorced in 2021 after nearly a decade of marriage. The couple went public with their romance in May 2020 and became engaged in January 2022 under a symbolic banyan tree.

The news has been met with support from their blended family, including a warm response from Sharna Burgess, Brian Austin Green’s current fiancée. Burgess shared Fox’s announcement on her Instagram Stories with the message, “Welcome little one, we are all so excited to meet you.”

This child will be joining an already extensive family network. Megan Fox is mother to three sons – Noah, who is 12, Bodhi, who is 10, and Journey, who is 8 – from her previous marriage to Green, while Kelly has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie. The new addition will be their first child together.

The pregnancy announcement is especially meaningful considering Fox’s previous open conversations about her experiences with miscarriage. In a Good Morning America interview about her poetry book, she shared,

“I’ve never been through anything like that in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately… trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?'”

The couple, who have been open about working through relationship challenges through therapy and maintaining transparent communication, are now looking forward to this new chapter in their lives together.
