Following the multiple assassination attempts on Donald Trump, an old video of Stacey Plaskett saying that Trump needs to be shot (shut) before she stops, corrects herself, and says stopped, has resurfaced.
Stacey Elizabeth Plaskett, a delegate of the House of Representatives made the remark in an MSNBC live interview in 2023. Watch the video below:
Both “shot” and “shut” sound alike, and she might have wanted to say the latter but had a quick rethink of her choice of words, and immediately cut in to say “stopped”.
Plaskett’s utterance then is now trending after the waves of attacks on the former leader of the United States as he actively campaigns for the presidential seat in November.
