Black Stars forward Inaki Williams has proceeded with his impressive ability since he returned from the September international break, creating another assist for Athletic Bilbao.
Williams played a major role as the team, Athletic Bilbao, stole three points in a 3-1 victory on Sunday evening against Celta Vigo in La Liga.
The African star created the assist for Alvaro Djalo’s late goal, which sealed the club’s win. This assist makes it the third consecutive match in which the Black Stars forward has either assisted or found the back of the net, extending the club’s winning run to three games.
The game against Celta Vigo makes it his fifth assist, including a goal he had in previous matches in the new season, creating importance in the squad. Gorka Guruzeta netted a double for the team, Athletic, as Iago Aspas scored Celta Vigo’s only goal from the penalty spot.
Athletic Bilbao now sit comfortably in third place in the La Liga standings with this win. Williams will be eager to do better to assist the club in remaining in the top spot of the La Liga standings. He currently has one goal and five assists since the commencement of the new season.
