A stunning Sunday strike from Eberechi Eze earned Crystal Palace an equalizer against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea, who embarrassingly defeated Wolves 6-2 last week stealing a whole three points, did a spectacular job in the first half of the game with the better possession as Cole Palmer fired just wide and Dean Henderson saved well from Noni Madueke before Nicolas Jackson ended up with a goal that gave the Blues the lead.

He was better at the game as he finished off a fast counter made by the Blues, tapping in Palmer’s cross at the near post.

Crystal Palace would have been reduced by a player when Will Hughes, on a booking, did a foul on Cole Palmer, but Hughes escaped being sent out of the pitch, which would have cost him the next match.

The goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez, was at his best as he pushed away Daichi Kamada’s strike that could have ended in a goal if he missed his calculation and prevented Palace from taking the lead.

Jackson was almost going to give Chelsea the lead in stoppage time after going through on goal, but his strike was saved by Palace goalkeeper Henderson.

The draw with Chelsea pushed Crystal Palace above their former standing and running for the season after back-to-back losses, while Chelsea have only won a game and a draw that earned them 4 points from their three games so far.
