Joshua Zirkzee and England forward Marcus Rashford scored two goals each to give head coach Ruben Amorim his first Premier League win since joining Manchester United in a commanding 4-0 game against Everton.

Manchester United put smiles on the faces of their fans on Sunday at Old Trafford following a Europa League comeback against Bodo/Glimt. The Red Devils scored the first goal when Marcus Rashford’s shot was deflected by Jarrad Branthwaite which ended up in an own goal.

In less than eight minutes after the first goal, Amad Diallo made an assist to Zirkzee that he converted into a goal after beating Branthwaite.

Manchester United could not wait any longer after the second half commenced before Rashford found the net 20 seconds into the second half to make it 3-0 courtesy of an assist from Diallo.

Diallo continued to star in the game as he earned possession from James Tarkowski and made an assist to Zirkzee for a fourth goal that was scored in the 64th minute.

In an attempt for Everton to score and equalize, Dwight McNeil and Beto created good chances, but they were thwarted and could not find the net. Manchester United did not hide their anger despite the victory over the increase in ticket prices for fans, protesting before and during the game.

The new head coach’s tactical calculation gave hope to the team, with the win pushing Manchester United to ninth position in the Premier League table.
