West Ham has ended Crystal Palace‘s home win that they have been holding since April with second-half goals from Tomas Soucek, securing their first Premier League victory under new coach Julen Lopetegui.

Soucek scored West Ham’s first goal by majoring on a loose ball in the Palace area after excellent work from substitute Aaron Wan-Bissaka down the right flank.

Bowen gave the club their three points after scoring five minutes later, marking his first-ever goal against Crystal Palace with a left-footed shot inside the near post.

Michail Antonio and Mohammed Kudus were at the center of the game for West Ham, while Eberechi Eze and Odsonne Edouard missed the chances that could have made it a draw for the Palace.

Eze could not get his luck as his shot hit the crossbar late in the first half with a well-struck shot from a short-corner routine, leaving goalkeeper Alphonse Areola vulnerable.

The second half did not have much life until Soucek scored the first fish in the game, with Bowen’s second goal finally putting Crystal Palace behind and dashing their hopes of a comeback.
