Tottenham Hotspur secured a Premier League victory 4-0 against Everton, with Jordan Pickford’s error and Son Heung-min’s scoring double playing major roles in the win.

Aside from Son, Yves Bissouma and Cristian Romero also scored a goal each as Tottenham won their first game of the campaign.

The team dominated the game against Everton, which has now conceded seven goals in two games and has not scored a single goal.

The push started in the first half when Pickford made an error as he mishandled a simple back pass, giving Son an opportunity to steal the ball and score Tottenham’s second goal.

Tottenham was able to dominate the match as they left Everton struggling, especially without a lot of first-choice defenders due to injury.

Everton did not do much in regards to attack, with their lone opportunities coming from set pieces. Manager Sean Dyche will not want to lose a point, as he will be hoping for a quick turnaround when they host Bournemouth next week in what already looks like a crucial game for his team.

The Tottenham boss, frustrated by a missed chance in the season opener against Leicester City that could have helped his side secure six points, saw his team control this match from start to finish. They scored the third goal in the 70th minute after taking a 2-0 lead when Romero powered in a header from a corner, leaving Pickford vulnerable.

Son scored the last goal after a brilliant run by Micky van de Ven set him up to finish from a tight angle.
