Mike Tyson has replied to Jake Paul’s victory over Mike Perry by sharing a countdown to their new combat date.
‘Iron Mike’ published a video of himself watching the contest on Saturday night, which Paul gained through TKO in the sixth spherical. Perry turned staggering after a barrage of heavy pictures.
The former heavyweight global champion was supposed to fight Paul but needed to withdraw due to a fitness scare.
Despite Paul thinking about other options, the pair are now set to meet in the ring on November 15. Tyson, who is fifty-eight years old, advised that he is wholesome and focused on the new date.
“Countdown starts,” Tyson wrote, adding:
118 days
16 weeks and 6 days
17 weekends
2,832 hours
169,920 mins
10,195,200 seconds
“Clock Starts Now.”
Paul then discovered he suffered damage within the buildup to the Perry fight but downplayed any issues that the fight with Tyson might be delayed.
Conor McGregor criticized Paul for calling out Tyson and scheduling the fight due to Tyson’s age. Nevertheless, Tyson and Paul seem purposeful in moving forward with the combat, which is ready to take place at AT&T Stadium.
