Amanda Abbington has made a shocking’sexual nature’ position about the Strictly Come Dancing bullying investigation.
Amanda, who is currently 50- years -old, had issues with her professional partner, Giovanni Pernice, and their relationship is currently being probed. Amanda told Channel 4 News in her first TV interview that she felt abandoned by BBC bosses following the scandal.
Amanda told Krishnan Guru-Murthy, who has also appeared on Strictly, that the aftermath of speaking out was not ‘something I was expecting’ amidst the escalating Strictly scandal. “It’s not been easy,” she said, breaking down in tears on camera.
The interview with Amanda was done at the Park Theatre in North London, where she is currently practicing the play When It Happens to You. She told Krishnan, “This play has certainly reinforced my belief that you can be in a rehearsal room and be nurtured and looked after. Because you start to think, ‘Oh, you know, am I going mad?’ but I’m not mad, as you know, but yeah, it’s been brutal, relentless, and unforgiving.”
The Sherlock Holmes actress previously complained to the BBC about enduring five weeks of irregular behavior on the last series before pulling out and being diagnosed with PTSD. “I found Giovanni’s behavior unnecessary, abusive, cruel, and mean. I couldn’t sit back and let him do that to other people,” she told The Sun.
