CCTV captured a woman throwing two puppies inside a dumpster and then walking away.
22-year-olds Jasmine Mouton was arrested alongside one Kendall Tyler, for discarding two dogs inside a thrash bin on Sunday, June 2, around 6:30 p.m, outside of Sebastian West End Seafood at 1538 West Landry Street in Opelousas.
A second clip showed the “animal offender” being led out of her home by officers on Monday, June 3, where she would be charged with aggravated animal cruelty.

The puppies were rescued alive and okay and were being taken care of by a neighbor, and St. Landry Parish Animal Control was overseeing the case.
