The feud between hip-hop legends Suge Knight and P. Diddy seems to have been put on hold, with Knight offering a bit of serious advice to his rival.
In an audio clip purportedly from Knight’s prison podcast, the currently incarcerated Death Row Records co-founder cautions Diddy that his “life’s in danger.”
“I’ll tell you what, Puffy: Your life is in danger ’cause you know the secrets, who’s involved in that little secret room you guys are participating in,” Knight says in the audio obtained by TMZ. “They gonna get you if they can.”
The rapper, who is serving a 28-year manslaughter sentence, seems to be alleging Diddy has inside knowledge of some unspecified criminal activities.
Suge Knight also advised the 54-year-old artist, whose homes were recently searched by federal agents investigating potential sex trafficking charges, to turn himself in just as he did after a fatal 2015 hit-and-run incident.
“I turned myself in,” states Knight. “Sometimes you got to face the music. That’s most of the time.”
While Diddy’s legal team has dismissed the sex trafficking probe as an “ill-conceived witch hunt” based on rumors, the 58-year-old still offered Diddy advice on navigating potential prison life under his “Brother Love” moniker:
“Do not do your time going by Brother Love,” he said. “Brother Love is not a good code name for prison.”
