Slain Iranian General Linked To Planning And Execution Of October 7 Hamas Attack

An organization affiliated with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran has disclosed that Iranian General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, allegedly killed in an Israeli airstrike on April 1, was a key figure in the mass killing of 1,200 individuals, including over 30 Americans, on October 7.

The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), based in the U.S., uncovered this startling revelation and translated it into English. On April 3, Iran’s Coalition Council of Islamic Revolution Forces issued a notice of mourning and acknowledgment for the late Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander, Zahedi.

Zahedi served as the commander of the IRGC’s elite Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon and was among those killed in Iran’s diplomatic compound in Damascus, along with six others.

The October 7 invasion, known as the Al-Aqsa-Flood by Hamas, resulted in widespread rapes, fatalities, and hostage-taking, with over 100 individuals currently held captive by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Regarding the MEMRI report and Zahedi’s alleged involvement in the October 7 massacre, a spokesperson from the U.S. State Department informed Fox News Digital that “IRGC Qods Force Brigadier General Mohamed Reza Zahedi was a significant leader of Iran’s effort, directly and through proxies, to threaten Israel.

While we are unable to comment on the precise role he played in the October 7 attack, there is no question that the IRGC Qods Force and people like Zahedi have long been involved in supporting threats to Israel and to U.S. interests, including the arming and funding of terrorist groups and militant proxies and partners that threaten Israel’s security and stability across the Middle East.”
