Americans took to social media to air their displeasure on the congress after footage of them celebrating and waving the Ukraine flags with chants upon the approval of a further $60.84 billion to be sent to the warring country to keep up its fight against Russia.
“When’s the last time you heard Congress chant and cheer for the USA like this?”, one asked as many queried why the US should continue spending billions on other countries despite the many financial issues the country has.
Another quickly pointed out that the huge sum could have been used to protect their porous borders from the influx of illegal immigrants.
“We need to remove all of them from office either by voting or force, but they must go. They continuously stab the American people in the back. Our debt clock goes up over a trillion dollars before the 100 day mark that they said. That’s right with the interest. It rises another trillion dollars every 80 days. Do you still think they shouldn’t be removed? Because you and your kids and grandkids are on the hook for every last dollar”, another complained.
“This is pathetic. Absolutely no flag except 🇺🇸 should ever be waved by our elected officials. Every single flag waver should be voted out of office or in my mind, thrown out now. Who do they represent? Not me or anyone I know.”
Others pointed out that one of the major reasons the US loves funding war in other countries because the politicians had a stake and were shareholders in the companies that will be needed for their goods (weapons and gear) and services (rebuilding after the war) during the times of war, as well as for money laundering.
