A shooting incident that happened in a NYC subway train around a black man, a Latino man, and a woman, left one person stabbed and deceased.
The event which was captured by a passenger in the train started with the black man provoking and charging up the Latino man for a fight at the Nostrand Avenue subway station at 4:45 p.m.
The two proceeded to a fistfight that had the yet-to-be-identified black man having the upper hand.
The fight took another turn when a woman, white, stabbed the black man in his lower back, with a knife she retrieved from her bag.
The now-bleeding 36-year-old passenger further escalated the scuffle by bringing out his gun from his jacket, which led passengers scampering to the exit for safety.
However, the 32-year-old Latino was said to have disarmed the black man and shot him multiple times, hitting him on the head. He was rushed to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in critical condition and was undergoing surgery, while the shooter was arrested by the police. No information has been obtained on the woman that did the stabbing.
The police said they were still conducting their investigations.
“When you bring a gun on a train and you start a fight, it’s not right and it’s absolutely outrageous,” NYPD Chief Michael Kemper said at a press conference.
