Richard Sherman, the former NFL star and current Amazon Prime analyst, was arrested on Saturday morning for a suspected DUI (Driving Under the Influence), according to the Washington State Patrol.
Sherman, who had once played for the Seattle Seahawks, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was booked into the King County Correctional Facility at about 4:51 a.m. without bond or bail.
His court hearing is expected to take place on Monday, February 26th.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that the former Pro-athlete has faced legal troubles related to driving under the influence. He was once arrested back in 2021 for crashing his SUV in a construction zone and later trying to break into his in-laws’ residence in Washington.
In 2022, he pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor charges of first-degree negligent driving and second-degree criminal trespass.
Sherman has not posted anything on his social media accounts about his recent incident. As of this moment, it is unclear how this will impact his contract with Amazon Prime and his reputation in the industry.
