A political commentator and talk show host, Steven Crowder, claimed to have released Covenant School shooter Audrey Hale‘s writings to the public.
Steven Crowder, host of “Louder with Crowder,” released three photos of writings in alleged Audrey Hale’s notebooks. The authorities are currently investigating the images.
Metro Nashville Police Department officials say they are aware of the tweets and are receiving phone calls about them but no legitimate confirmation yet.
“I have directed Wally Dietz, Metro’s Law Director, to initiate an investigation into how these images could have been released,” Nashville Mayor O’Connell said.
“That investigation may involve local, state, and federal authorities. I am deeply concerned with the safety, security, and well-being of the Covenant families and all Nashvillians who are grieving.”
Dietz, Metro’s Law Director, has also released a statement concerning the! Alleged leak.
“I cannot confirm or deny the authenticity of the documents due to the existing lawsuit,” Dietz said. ” At the request of the Mayor, I am initiating a full investigation with multiple law enforcement agencies to determine exactly what happened.
The Covenant shooter shot and killed six people, including three children, at The Covenant School on March 27 and a lawsuit has been filed to release Audrey’s writings since she was killed during a shootout with the police.
Some Tennessee lawmakers, Elon Musk, country music stars, and more have demanded the writings be released.
