By now, it’s nearly hard to minimize Jude Bellingham‘s significance to Real Madrid. The Englishman has scored 13 goals in 13 games, including two to win El Clásico and three late winners, to have the best start to his career at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu. Not bad for a player who has never in his career scored a lot of goals in any other venue.

Real Madrid was understandably incensed when the 20-year-old appeared to be in excruciating pain following an ungainly fall during the first half of their La Liga match against Rayo Vallecano at home.

Bellingham gained the ball in midfield, but his forward momentum caused him to fall to the ground, arms outstretched, with a grimace on his face indicating that he may have seriously injured his shoulder.

A stretcher was even requested as the midfield player received treatment on the field because Blancos manager Carlo Ancelotti was afraid he would be forced off. Rodrygo was sent to warm up.

In a dramatic turn of events, though, the England international was up and trotting off to the side of the field as soon as he saw the stretcher. He waited with the physio for a short while before running back onto the field as if nothing had happened. Being Bellingham, he returned to the action right away and appeared to be in top physical condition just minutes after it first appeared that he might need to spend some time on the sidelines.
