Chris Appleton filed for divorce after about seven months of marriage to Lukas Gage.
Appleton cited “irreconcilable differences” on Monday, with a date of separation of November 10, according to LGBT divorce documents from Los Angeles that PEOPLE was able to obtain. Additionally, the records demonstrate the existence of a postnuptial agreement.
Kim Kardashian officiated Appleton’s April 22 marriage to Gage in a Las Vegas ceremony. Appleton is a celebrity hairstylist.
The 28-year-old White Lotus star wrote, “Ring finger where the rock is,” as the caption for a set of images on Instagram that showed the couple exchanging vows earlier this year.
The newlyweds, who stayed at the Wynn luxury hotel and casino, were shown in the Instagram carousel’s last video holding champagne glasses on a stage while Shania Twain serenaded them to her hit song “You’re Still the One.”
Their Vegas wedding was featured in last week’s Hulu episode of The Kardashians, along with a behind-the-scenes peek at how it came together. Appleton went on to say that Gage made his engagement ring out of the caviar tin they had shared on their first date.
The scene where he asks Kardashian to perform the wedding is also captured in the episode. Given that she has been married and divorced three times, she jokes about it. On their special day, she expresses to him her honor to be with him and Gage.
In their six months of marriage, Appleton and Gage have attended a lot of events together. They even celebrated Appleton’s 40th birthday this summer with an opulent boat trip in Turks and Caicos.
Gage and Appleton have not yet made their split known to the public. Representatives for each did not immediately reply to a request for comment from PEOPLE.
